Softball Sweeps Larned

On Tuesday, softball traveled to Larned winning both games including a run rule in the second game.

Sophomore, Mya Morris pitched all of game one, striking out 6. While Morris was a beast on the mound Senior, Lauren Caldwell was a menace at the plate, stealing 2 bases. The dragons went on to win 12-1.

In game two Freshman, Kaci Young pitched a whole game not allowing any runs. Young has been a great addition to the softball team with her accuracy, as she walked zero on Tuesday. The leading scorer of the night was sophomore, Rylee Carmichael with 2 runs scored.
"We’re proud that we have officially tied the best record the HHS softball has had in at least 10 years, but we aren’t satisfied with just that. The girls are eager to keep “climbing the hill” and continuing the push teams this season. " Coach Eileen Vlamis said over her thought of the game on Tuesday.
Dragon Softball will play a double-header vs. Hoisington on Friday the 22nd at Home. Game 1 starts at 4:30
